Free and Pro

Free is for testing the physics: build a mechanism with bodies, ropes, pulleys, springs and joints, run it, step through it and scrub the time bar, and open the official templates and examples. Scenes are saved on your own device.

Pro is for using the result: graphs and the data table, labels and every figure annotation, free-body diagrams, every export, the presenter, gears and drives, exam variants, Python, parameter sweeps, your cloud library and publishing in the marketplace, and Sandbox or Research by choice. It also licenses what you make for teaching, papers, books and commercial work. The full list is on the pricing page.

#The price

Pro is €39 a year (€3.25 a month) or €4.99 a month, VAT included. There is no trial: Free lets you test the physics, and a payment gets you a full refund within 14 days if Pro is not what you need.

#Paying

Press a padlock, or Account → Upgrade to Pro. Sign in if you have not (the purchase continues after), then complete the payment in the window that opens. Payments are handled by Paddle, the merchant of record: it collects the VAT for your country, sends the invoice and never shares your card with us.

#Manage, cancel, refund

Account → Manage subscription opens Paddle's billing page: change the card, download invoices, switch plan or cancel. After cancelling, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Within 14 days of a payment, write to [email protected] (or ask Paddle) for a full refund.

#If Pro ends

Nothing is deleted. Your scenes open, run and save. The Pro parts in them (gears, annotations, graphs, a script) stay in the file, shown with a padlock and read-only, until you subscribe again. Your cloud library stays readable and downloadable. Deleting your account also ends the subscription at once.

A Course plan gives Pro to everyone in a course or department and is invoiced per seat: write to [email protected].
