A Block on a Board: When Does It Slip?
A board on ice is pulled harder and harder. Friction carries the block on it along until F = μ g (m₁ + m₂); then the block slips and the accelerations part.
Recoil: Two Carts Pushed Apart
A spring pushes a 1 kg and a 3 kg cart apart. The total momentum stays zero: the light cart leaves three times as fast and takes three quarters of the energy.
Overload: Break Force
A rod with a 60 N break force holds a 3 kg block while a load grows at 6 N/s: the rod lets go when mg + 6t reaches 60 N.
Forced Oscillation near Resonance
A force F₀ sin 2πft drives a damped mass-spring near its resonance (f₀ = 0.95 Hz). Change f or F₀ in Data → Constants and run again.
